Schedule

  • The Sylvan Park Library operates on a flexible schedule, which is considered a best practice by the AASL (American Association of School Librarians).
  • Students are encouraged to come to the library as often as needed with permission from their teacher. Additionally, teachers are able to schedule classes in the library, or have the librarian come to their room, according to the learning needs of the classroom.
  • Teachers & Staff are encouraged to use the library whenever is convenient for them. They have 24/7 access to the online catalog and can request books through it.

Limitless Libraries

  • MNPS has a partnership with Nashville Public Libraries called Limitless Libraries which allows students and teachers can check out NPL materials, request school delivery of materials, and access online databases.
  • All Limitless Libraries materials will be delivered to and returned to Sylvan Park Library. Sylvan Park is an enthusiastic partner of Limitless Libraries!
